Universal Orlando Resort has introduced new window displays that guests can interact with using the “Despicable Me,” “Trolls,” and “Jurassic World” bubble wands introduced for the Mega Movie Parade.
Bubble Wand Interactive Windows
The wands were released last summer to coincide with the Mega Movie Parade. While the parade is on hiatus, guests can use their wands at these windows of the Universal Studios Store in Universal Studios Florida. There are four interactive windows, one themed to each of the three IPs and one featuring all three. From left to right in the photo above: “Trolls,” all three, “Despicable Me” / “Minions,” and “Jurassic World.” Another “Jurassic world” display window is on the far right but this does not interact with the wands.
Each window features graphics across the bottom with the instructions to choose your wand, flip the switch down, aim, and press the button.
“Trolls” Window
The “Trolls” window features a mushroom house in the center. Decals depict Branch, the Caterbus, and Poppy. “Trolls” plush are on boxes.
When the wand activates effects, a Poppy plush appears in the mushroom house.

Golden bubble lights also appear on the left side of the display, behind Branch and the Caterbus.
Wands Window
This window has several of each bubble wand on display. Behind the wands are the characters from atop each wand: Bob the Bear and Tim the Minion, Princess Poppy, and Blue the Velociraptor.
When you use your own bubble wand on the display, each character is illuminated in colorful lights. Above them, the words “Choose your wand” light up.
Minions Window
The Minions window features Minion plush and decals with big black speakers. One Minion is in front of a colorful tile wall wearing headphones, as though he’s a DJ.
The wands activate the disco balls hanging to the sides. They spin, reflecting light.
The colorful tiles behind the DJ Minion also light up. There is no music, however.
“Jurassic World” Window
In the last window is various “Jurassic World” merchandise. A dinosaur peers through foliage in the center. Decals across the front resemble electric fences.
The bubble wand causes the dinosaur to move and open its mouth wide.
