In a Discover Universal Blog post, Universal states, “The dragons that rule the skies are a sight to behold as well, and you can watch in awe as they soar above while you make your way around the theme park to each of the thrilling attractions in Isle of Berk.” An accompanying piece of concept art depicts dragons flying over the land. Dragon drones have been spotted testing in the world in the past.

Earlier this month, we got our first look at a life-size dragon that will be on the ground in the “How to Train Your Dragon” land. Guests will be able to get up close with dragons in meet and greets with Toothless (and Hiccup), Stormfly (and Astrid), and Grump (and Gobber). Dragons will appear in “The Untrainable Dragon” stage show. There will also be dragons throughout the land in houses.
