Construction continues on the monorail station at Downtown Disney District while the Disneyland Monorail is closed for refurbishment.

The station is behind walls in an array of bright colors. A sign on the blue door through the construction walls says “Disneyland Monorail is Currently Unavailable.”

The construction is primarily for the installation of new ticketing gates.

Signage hanging from the roof has been covered and a new structure has been erected. It’s a reddish color for now but is unfinished. Crews were actively at work at the new structure with wires in hand.

The Disneyland Monorail has been closed to all guests starting on January 6, 2025, along with the Disneyland Railroad. Both the Disneyland Monorail and Railroad have an expected reopening date of March 7, 2025.
