In a survey sent to guests who visit the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, Disney is asking for their thoughts on CommuniCore Hall.
CommuniCore Hall Survey

Disney asks guests who indicate they visited CommuniCore Hall during the current Once Upon a Stage: 30 Years of Disney on Broadway exhibit how much they agree with the following statement: “Current offerings within CommuniCore Hall are a valuable use of this space.” The options are strongly agree, somewhat agree, neither agree nor disagree, somewhat disagree, and strongly disagree.
A follow-up states “Please elaborate on why you [agree or disagree] that the current offerings within CommuniCore Hall are a valuable use of the space.” There is space to write a response or guests can skip the question.
Disney then asks if your most recent trip was your first trip to CommuniCore Hall.

Guests who say this is not their first visit to the venue can select which of the following times they have visited CommuniCore Hall:
- Summer 2024 (6/10/24 – 8/26/24)
- EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival (8/29/24 – 11/23/24)
- EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays (11/29/24 – 12/30/24)
- EPCOT International Festival of the Arts (1/17/25 – 2/24/25)
- Not sure / Don’t Recall
Depending on what options guests select, they are asked to compare their experiences with CommuniCore Hall. They can choose to say CommuniCore Hall’s current offerings are much better, somewhat better, about the same, somewhat worse, or much worse than during another specificfestival.

CommuniCore Hall opened in June 2024, along with CommuniCore Plaza. One side of the building is dedicated to a permanent Mickey & Friends meet and greet while the other side is a flex space that has housed shopping and festival offerings. It has faced significant criticism — from us and others. As we stated in our original review, CommuniCore Hall offers some much-needed functional space, including seating, but isn’t anything special to look at. We noted during the Festival of the Holidays that it looked like a sad Target Christmas aisle with few decorations, and remained a far cry from its original concept art.
The Disney on Broadway exhibit has been more well-received, although it does mean there is no food or seating in the space. Disney will likely use the survey responses to decide how CommuniCore Hall will be used in the future, and hopefully, we’ll continue to see more interesting offerings.

We visited Communicore Hall for the first time during Christmas week. It looked quite sparce in comparison with Odyssey. Odyssey had snacks, many Christmas decorations, and Santa Goofy. Communicore Hall just had a gingerbread spaceship earth and a small merchandise display. Not impressed with their college cafeteria.
