Even more new Epic Universe merchandise has been released at Universal Stella Nova Resort, including a new mini backpack, bucket hat, keychain, and more.
Metro-Floo Mini Backpack – $70
This new mini-backpack is styled almost identically to a Loungefly backpack, but it is not a Loungefly-branded bag. The bag is white with “Metro-Floo” written across the center in green. A large green fireplace sits in the center. The fireplace acts almost like a snow globe, with a clear plastic layer holding bubbles of green liquid and glitter. The liquid moves across the fireplace center depending on how you tilt the bag.
The bag has one large center compartment closed by a zipper and two smaller slip pockets on either side. A small green patch on the left side and both of the silver zippers are shaped like the stylized “M” logo for the Metro-Floo. The bottom half of the bag has a white subway tile pattern.
The back straps of the bag are the same emerald green as the fireplace on the front. The interior lining has more of the repeating subway tile pattern in white and green.
Metro-Floo Hoodie – $65
This grey hoodie features a much larger version of the stylized “M’ Metro-Floo logo from the mini-backpack. The logo is in bright green and matches the hood’s interior lining. “Metro-Floo” is written vertically in yellow down the right sleeve. The drawstrings for the hood are also green with “Metro-Floo” repeating multiple times.
Gryffindor Charm Pin – $18
We previously spotted hanging charm pins for three of the four Hogwarts houses, but Gryffindor was missing. The Gryffindor pin has now been restocked. The pin is gold with ruby gemstones across the top. The Gryffindor crest with its lion mascot hangs from the center.
Like the other hanging charm pins, the back has a long stick pin instead of the usual short pin back.
Hogwarts Charm Pin – $18
In addition to the four individual house charm pins, a newly-stocked pin also has the complete Hogwarts crest hanging from the center. The horizontal top hanger has four gemstones, one for each house color. Four more gemstones hang on either side of the golden Hogwarts crest. Like the Gryffindor pin, the back has a long stick pin.
Ministry of Magic Badge Reel – $16
This badge reel has a metal clip on the top and a retractable plastic strap. The clip on the top is gold and has the Ministry of Magic “M” logo. The card holder at the bottom is green with a pattern similar to an elevator gate.
The opposite side of the card holder has a slip pocket with a clear window for displaying a park ticket or ID card. The border is green with a brickwork pattern.
Harry Potter Pin Slytherin – $13
Stella Nova has also restocked the other simplified Hogwarts house crest pins, since we only found Gryffindor’s during our previous visit. The green Slytherin pin has a dark green snake over a lighter green background. The name of the house is written across the center.
Harry Potter Pin Ravenclaw – $13
The Ravenclaw pin is azure blue, with a large raven behind the banner with the house’s name.
Harry Potter Pin Hufflepuff – $13
The final house pin is bright yellow for Hufflepuff. The house’s badger is standing behind the Hufflepuff banner.
Ministry of Magic Long-Sleeve Shirt – $70
Another new Ministry of Magic item is this white, long-sleeved shirt for adults. The shirt has “Ministry of Magic” written in emerald green across a grey ‘M” logo. The bottom hem and sleeve cuffs of the shirt have two long stripes in emerald green and dark purple. The back of the shirt is plain.
Toothless Bucket Hat – $34
This new bucket hat is black and designed to look like Toothless. The hat has green eyes and black scales, just like the beloved dragon. Additional black “spikes” stick out on the sides.
“Universal Studios” is sewn in black across the back of the hat. The interior lining is the same neon green color as Toothless’ eyes.
Toothless Striped Shirt – $39
This eye-catching shirt has a cute image of Toothless’ head over a striped white and black fabric. A small red dragon icon is attached to the bottom right hem.
Epic Universe Metal Tumbler – $49.99
This new metal tumbler is vacuum insulated and made of stainless steel. The tumbler is black and has the main logo for Universal Epic Universe printed on the front.
The back of the tumbler has Epic Universe embossed into the metal. The handle is made of black plastic.
The lid is made of clear plastic with a sliding hole for drinking. The bottom of the tumbler has a rubber base with the manufacturer of the tumbler and washing instructions. It is worth noting that the tumblers fit into Coca-Cola freestyle machines. A sign in the store says that guests get one day of free drink refills with their purchase of a tumbler.
All of these new items join the list of over 140 new Epic Universe items we found at the Stella Nova resort during our last visit and the Epic Universe merch already available at the Epic Universe preview center.
