The recently-added Ecorhythmics band performing in Disney’s Animal Kingdom has moved to a new location near DinoLand U.S.A.
New Ecorhythmics Location

Ecorhythmics (stylized as ECORHYTHMiCS) is a recently-added drummer band to the Disney’s Animal Kingdom entertainment roster. The three-piece band performs on special platforms made of repurposed materials, with each platform illustrating a part of “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.” If you want to see more of the details that go into the many props and instruments used by the band, we have a photo guide.
The band’s performances usually last about fifteen minutes, and the three drummers perform covers of iconic Disney songs like I Wan’na Be Like You” from “The Jungle Book” and “How Far I’ll Go” from “Moana.” In addition to performing songs, the Cast Members also interact with the audience, tell a few jokes, and encourage guests to help protect the environment. The three drummers making up Ecorhythmics are actually the same Cast Members who used to perform on the Discovery Island Drummers Flotilla.

Recently, the Ecorhythmics platforms have moved to a new location for their daily performances. The new spot is located on the corner of the road leading into DinoLand U.S.A. from Discovery Island, near the large dinosaur skeleton marking the land’s entrance. Disney has not made a statement regarding why the platforms moved to a new location, but it may be related to the ongoing demolition of Chester & Hester’s Dino-Rama.

While the band’s performance times are subject to change, their usual daily schedule consists of one show 20 minutes after each hour, starting at 9:20 a.m. Their final performance each day will be at 3:20 p.m.

The image above shows the Ecorhythmics platforms in their old performance location. Previously, Ecorhythmics performed further back in DinoLand U.S.A, near the construction walls that were erected around the now-closed Chester & Hester’s Dino-Rama.
