This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Indiana Jones Adventure attraction at Disneyland, and the ride will close for refurbishment this spring, shortly after celebrating the milestone.
Indiana Jones Adventure
Indiana Jones Adventure originally opened on March 3, 1995. Guests will still be able to enjoy the ride on its actual anniversary date, as the last day of operation will be Sunday, March 16. On Monday, March 17, the ride will be closed, likely for routine refurbishment.
The official Disneyland Resort website lists the attraction as closed through at least March 21 — the furthest date available for guests to view on the attraction calendar. A set reopening time has not yet been announced. Other attractions closed at that time include “it’s a small world” and The Disneyland Story presenting Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln.
In March 2023, the Indiana Jones Adventure reopened after a three-month-long refurbishment that included a brand-new scene and many updated effects. You can watch a full POV of the updated experience below:
The Indiana Jones Adventure is located in Adventureland at Disneyland Park. On the attraction, guests embark on a journey in search of Indiana Jones, traveling into the crumbling Temple of the Forbidden Eye and encountering a massive rolling boulder.
Over at Walt Disney World Resort, a new Indiana Jones-themed ride is planned for Disney’s Animal Kingdom. DINOSAUR will be reimagined with the closure of DinoLand U.S.A. as it’s converted into the Tropical Americas land. The attraction will feature a new storyline that will take place in an ancient Mayan temple. The attraction is projected to open in 2027.

I will be at Disneyland in March and it looks like the day I am there is the last weekend the ride is open. Good I like this ride. As for Small World, I will be bummed if it is closed on March 14th…
