Madame Leota’s Somewhere Beyond is a store located near the exit of Disneyland Park’s Haunted Mansion attraction. The outside of the building was designed to resemble a carriage house on the property that is now being used to store some of Madame Leota’s many curiosities.

The store opened to the public on December 23, 2024. If you want to see more of the store’s interior, we have a full photo and video tour.

A green and beige wooden building with lanterns casts an eerie glow, reminiscent of a haunted mansion. The sign above the double doors hints at treasures inside. Posters adorn the entrance, beckoning visitors to explore the mysteries within this intriguing gift shop.

In a new report, construction on the outside of Madame Leota’s Somewhere Beyond will begin on February 3 and is expected to last around a month. The construction will include replacing concrete on the east side of the building to improve water drainage in the area. The store’s operations will be unaffected, but some exterior props or theming may be removed until the project has been completed.

A busy store with people browsing and shopping, Somewhere Beyond Shop is adorned with colorful lanterns. Various merchandise, including clothing and accessories, is displayed around the shop in a scene reminiscent of Disneyland Park magic.

The new Haunted Mansion store has been in the news relatively often lately, as Disney fans noticed a piece of AI artwork being used as a portrait display above one of the merchandise shelves. The artwork was quickly removed following online criticism, and the empty space was later filled with some framed oracle cards. In an interview with the LA Times, Imagineer Kim Irvine claimed the AI art was just a temporary placeholder, and more handmade items are being created.
