Epic Universe merchandise continues to become available at Universal Orlando as the opening date for the new theme park approaches.
We found a handful of new items available for purchase in Islands of Adventure Trading Company, located in the Port of Entry section of Universal Islands of Adventure.
Light Fury Plush Dragon – $32
This Light Fury plush dragon is scaled in all white with wings jutting from the back. A blue mouth, dark pupils on blueish eyes, and grey claws are the only hints of color on the plush.
Wings can be spread or remain folded behind the dragon’s body.
How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk will showcase the roller coaster Hiccup’s Wing Gliders, the boat-ride-turned-game Fyre Drill, and a Viking Training Camp play area when it opens as one of five themed worlds within Epic Universe.
Toothless Plush Dragon With Hiccup – $32
Hiccup rides Toothless in this new plush available at Universal. Toothless is all black with yellow-green eyes, with Hiccup wearing a green and tan helmet.
Hiccup grips Toothless near the ears, and wears a green and brown tunic with a dragon skull emblazoned in red on his armor sleeve. Toothless’ black wings extend outward as if he’s taking flight.
The all-black motif for Toothless extends throughout, including his claws. The plush body is stitched to mimic dragon scales.
A long black tail juts from Toothless’ body.
Super Nintendo World Tumbler – $29
Black tumblers with Mario’s enemies on the side are now available. The large tumblers feature character outlines in various neon colors with their names in Japanese.
Pink, blue, yellow, and orange characters are splayed across the tumbler, including Boo and Donkey Kong Jr.
A gray straw pokes through the clear plastic lid. The lid also provides the option to drink directly from the tumbler without the use of the straw.
Bowser Trucker Ball Cap – $35
A black trucker cap stamped with a pink neon outline of Bowser features red Japanese script on the bill which reads “Kuppa.” Kuppa (or Koopa) is Bowser’s name in Japan.
The mesh side provides cooling, with a Super Nintendo World patch stitched to one side. Super Nintendo World includes Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge as an attraction.
An adjustable pink back strap makes this Bowser hat one-size-fits-all for adults.
Bowser T-Shirt – $35
Bowser is also available as a pink logo with dark pink Japanese script on a black T-shirt. Like the Bowser trucker cap, the script calls the character “Kuppa.”
The right T-shirt sleeve is stamped with “Super Nintendo World” and Universal Studios” in light blue.
Boo Trucker Ball Cap – $35
Like Bowser’s trucker ball cap, the Boo trucker hat features a neon outline of the ghost enemy with Japanese script on the bill. The script says “Teresa,” which is Boo’s name in Japan. Both Boo and the script are presented in blue on the black hat.
This hat sports a purple mesh back with a Super Nintendo World patch on the right side.
The adjustable black strap back allows adults of all sizes to wear this hat.
Boo T-Shirt – $35
A black Boo T-shirt spotlights a neon blue Boo sketch with “Teresa” written in Japanese text beneath. Mario’s enemy Boo first appeared in “Super Mario Bros 3” on the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES).
The Boo T-shirt sleeve is stamped with “Super Nintendo World” and “Universal Studios” in gray and black.
Chain Chomp T-Shirt – $35
A neon blue stylized Chain Chomp decorates this T-shirt with the Japanese name “Wanwan” written beneath. Chain Chomps first appeared in “Super Mario Bros. 3” as a species that behaves like guard dogs.
The Chain Chomp T-shirt carries the same “Super Nintendo World” and “Universal Studios” stamp on the sleeve as the other shirts available.
Super Nintendo World Fanny Pack – $35
The Super Nintendo World fanny pack depicts enemies including Chain Chomps and Boo. Pink, yellow, blue, green, purple, and orange characters and writing against a black background and a “Super Nintendo World” patch complete the pattern.
The reverse side of the fanny back continues the enemy motif. An adjustable black body strap utilizes a black buckle clasp for ease of use.
Two zippered pockets provide room for storing valuables and necessities.
Super Nintendo World Backpack – $60
This black backpack features an all-over print with Super Mario enemies in a variety of neon colors. Bowser, Boo, and more with their original Japanese names in Japanese script cover the backpack. A Super Nintendo World patch is sewn to the top front panel of the backpack.
The reverse side of the backpack is plain black with adjustable black straps.
A zippered pocket inside the zipper-protected main storage area provides additional safety for important items.
