Stitch is on the loose at the Caesars Superdome. Before Super Bowl LIX got started on Sunday evening, an ad for the new live-action “Lilo & Stitch” film saw the titular alien running on the field.

“Lilo & Stitch” is a reimagining of the 2002 animated film, with Chris Sanders returning as the voice of Stitch. The live-action film’s commercials have paid homage to the original film’s ad campaign, featuring Stitch crashing other Disney films and now the big game.
The live-action remake also stars Maia Kealoha as Lilo Pelekai, Sydney Agudong as Nani Pelekai, Zach Galifianakis as the voice of Dr. Jumba Jookiba, Billy Magnussen as the voice of Agent Pleakley, Kaipo Dudoit as David Kawena, Tia Carrere (the original film’s Nani) as new character Mrs. Kekoa, Courtney B. Vance as Cobra Bubbles, Hannah Waddingham as the voice of the Grand Councilwoman, Amy Hill as David’s grandmother Tūtū, and Jason Scott Lee (the original voice of David) as a lūʻau manager.
“Lilo & Stitch” is directed by Dean Fleischer Camp (“Marcel the Shell with Shoes On”), produced by Jonathan Eirich and Dan Lin, with Louie Provost, Tom Peitzman, and Ryan Halprin serving as executive producers.
It will be in theaters on May 23, 2025. Watch the Super Bowl ad below.
