As another cold weather wave sweeps through Central Florida, Universal has announced a closure of Volcano Bay water park for two days in February.
Universal Volcano Bay Closure for Inclement Weather
Universal Orlando Resort has announced through their social media channels that Volcano Bay will be closed on Thursday, February 20 and Friday, February 21. Guests seeking additional park updates are encouraged to check the Universal Orlando Resort social media accounts or call 407-817-8317.

This announcement is the first weather-related closure of the water park in February 2025, though it previously closed for several days in January for similar weather-related reasons.
According to Weather.com, Orlando will see a high of 64° F and a low of 40° F on Thursday, while Friday will range between 62° F and 47° F. Volcano Bay typically closes once expected temperatures reach the mid-60s.
Universal has not yet made any announcements regarding Saturday or Sunday, although temperatures for the weekend are currently expected to rise.
