A light-up Chernabog figure is now available at Box Office Gifts in Magic Kingdom.
Chernabog Light-Up Figure – $200
Chernabog is a villain from the Disney film “Fantasia.” He’s depicted atop Bald Mountain which is the dark realm that he rules over in the film.
Displayed below him is a village, just like in the film, and in his hand are the ghosts and monsters he’s summoned. The light on the figure is visible near his chest where he emerges at the top of the mountain.
His large wings span across the back of the figure. Curled around him and the mountain includes a vine-like structure meant to resemble the smoky fog that appears around him in the film.
His wings can also be removed, likely to prevent being broken when packaged or shipped.
Chernabog is one of the villains specifically mentioned as being included in the upcoming Disney Villains land. The backstory of the land as shared by Disney is that a spell has summoned the villains and the heroes “don’t come to save the day. There may not be a happily ever after!” Disney recently filed a permit that indicates construction of the new land might begin as early as March 1.
