“Avengers Assemble,” the stunt show on the roof and balcony of Avengers Headquarters at Disney California Adventure, is closing.
Avengers Assemble Stunt Show Closing
The final performance of the Avengers Campus show will be on April 5, Disneyland Resort officials told The Orange County Register.
“Avengers Assemble” usually features Black Widow, Captain America, and Black Panther fighting Taskmaster. A holiday version featuring Hawkeye debuted in 2021.
The closing of “Avengers Assemble” follows a slew of live show cancelations at Disneyland Resort last year. Disney cut down the amount of performances for “Warriors of Wakanda: The Disciplines of the Dora Milaje” and “Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome Dance Off!” “Dr. Strange: Mysteries of the Mystic Arts” closed permanently. The Spider-Man Stuntronic show also in Avengers Campus cut human performers.
All this before Avengers Campus is set to double in size with two new rides — the 3D multiverse-jumping Avengers: Infinity Defense and the Iron Man-inspired Stark Flight Lab.
