Walt Disney World filed a permit with Orange County on Thursday for the installation of a new water tank at one of the Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort pools.

The permit describes the property as the “Trinidad North Pool” on Cayman Way. Trinidad is one of the Caribbean Beach Resort villages. While Fuentes del Morro is the resort’s feature pool, the Trinidad pool is one of five smaller leisure pools.

The description of improvement on the permit is “lnstall New Water Tank” and it contracts WestBrook Service Corporation for the work.

Disney has not announced a closure for the Trinidad pool. It’s possible it would not need to close for the water tank to be installed. If it does close, the other pools at the resort will remain open for guest use. Fuentes del Morro was closed last month for a brief refurbishment — normal for the feature pool.

Last year, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort tested a new wristband system for to access the main pool.

Table-service restaurant Sebastian’s Bistro at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort will close for refurbishment in March.
