According to Mickey Visit and other outlets, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel entrance to Disney California Adventure is temporarily closed.
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel Entrance Temporarily Closing
The park entrance to Disney California Adventure from the hotel is located off the lobby next to Napa Rose. The entrance is currently closed due to construction on the entry gates to Disney California Adventure. It’s expected that the closure will last until mid-May 2025.

The entry gates at the front of the park have also recently been updated to include built-in screens that may eventually provide facial recognition entry.
There are still alternate entry options for guests staying at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel. While construction takes place, guests can use the Pixar Place Hotel entrance or take a short walk through Downtown Disney to get to the main park entrance.
Other refurbishments will also soon be taking place at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel. The Disney Vacation Club Villas will be refreshed with updated interiors including new decor. Each of the rooms will display new artwork commissioned from local plein art painters. The Napa Rose Restaurant will be remodeled and a second club-level lounge will also be added.
