FIRST LOOK at All the Harry Potter Interactive Wand Spell Spots at Epic Universe

The second generation interactive wands have debuted at Universal Orlando Resort and with them, the spell spots in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic at Epic Universe have been revealed.

The new wands come with a paper map like their predecessors, which includes all the spells at all three Wizarding World locations. They are also visible on the Universal Orlando app, as the new features use Universal Play.

Epic Universe Interactive Wand Spell Spots

Map

Antique-style map labeled "Ministry of Magic," reminiscent of the Harry Potter universe, displays a circular layout with locations numbered 1 to 12. A central area named "Place Cachée" and an "Interactive Wand" icon await your exploration, promising an epic magical experience.

The bulk of the world at Epic Universe is themed to 1920s Wizarding Paris. It does not appear that there will be any spell spots in the British section, given that guests only visit the British Ministry for the Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry ride.

Guests enter Wizarding Paris under the Phoenix Arch onto Rue Cacheé (Hidden Street), where the first two spell spots are located.

1: Les Bijous de Jacqueline (Jacqueline’s Jewels)

A sign reads: "Les Bijous de Jacqueline. Lumos, The Wand-lighting Charm." Discover the magic of an interactive wand straight from the Harry Potter universe. Below is a button labeled "View More.

The first spell spot on Rue Cacheé is at Les Bijous de Jacqueline, where guests will perform Lumos, the wand-lighting charm.

2: Monsieur Sanfins (Mr. Sanfins)

Further down Rue Cacheé and across the street is Monsieur Sanfins, where guests will start a fire with Incendio.

3: Chez Flamel (The Flamel Home)

At Chez Flamel, the menu features "Specialis Revelio: A Specialized Revealing Charm," inviting guests to explore more. This enchanting experience feels straight out of the epic universe of Harry Potter, as if wielding an interactive wand. Discover the magic beyond with "View More.

Detouring over into Quarter de Nicolas Flamel, the Flamel home will require guests to cast Specialis Revelio to reveal a secret.

4: Pharmacie Branchiflore (Branchiflore’s Pharmacy/Apothecary)

Black and gold sign with "Pharmacie Branchiflore" at the top, followed by "Revelio The Revealing Charm" inspired by Harry Potter's epic universe. An interactive wand awaits—simply tap to "View More.

Heading out of Quarter de Nicolas Flamel is Rue de Furstemberg. At Dr. Aziz Branchiflore’s Apothecary, guests will use Revelio.

5: Mauricio Meurice, Tailleur (Mauricio Meurice, Tailor)

A card displays "Mauricio Meurice, Tailleur," alongside an Interactive Wand casting "Rennervate," the Reviving Charm. The setup invites you to a magical experience reminiscent of the Epic Universe of Harry Potter. A "View More" button tempts further exploration.

Also on Rue Furstemberg, at the shop of Mauricio Meurice, Tailor, guests will need to use the reviving charm, Rennervate.

6: Les Valises Maroquinerie (The Leather Suitcases)

Text reads: "Descendo - The Descending Charm," reminiscent of the spells from the Harry Potter universe, with a decorative border and an "Interactive Wand" prompt.

Next to the tailor is Les Valises Maroquinerie, where Descendo (the descending charm) will be cast.

7: Le Serpent Volant (The Flying Serpent)

Text reads: "LE SERPENT VOLANT. Ventus. The Windy Spell with Interactive Wand." on a decorative black and gold background reminiscent of the magical world of Harry Potter. View More within this Epic Universe.

Also at the end of Rue Furstemberg is Le Serpent Volant. Guests will cast Ventus, the windy spell, here.

8: Chez Cosmé (The Cosmé Home)

At the Cosmé home (presumably that of Cosmé Acajor, the legendary wandmaker), guests will light their way with Lumos Maxima.

9: Les Lumières Maroquinerie (The Lights Leather Goods)

A sign showcasing "Les Lumières Maroquinerie" and "Titillando: The Tickling Hex" with a curved arrow icon evokes the magic of Harry Potter. Below, an enticing "View More" button awaits your curiosity.

There are no spell spots on Rue du Carcohl, so guests will pass through Place Cacheé to reach Rue Malabête for the final spell spots. At Les Lumières Maroquinerie, guests will cast Titillando, the tickling hex.

10: Les Instruments Larusso (Larusso Instruments)

A black and gold sign reads "Les Instruments Larusso." Below, it says "Locomotor: The Locomotion Charm" with a decorative symbol and "View More" at the bottom. Discover magic like never before with an interactive wand in this epic universe.

Across the street is Les Instruments Larusso, where the spell spot calls for Locomotor.

11: Librairie Magillard (Magillard Bookstore)

Next to Larusso Instruments is Librairie Magillard. Guests will use Revelio again.

12: Fontaine de la Rue Malabête (The Fountain of Malabête Street)

A decorative sign, inspired by Harry Potter, displays "Fontaine de la Rue Malabête" and "Accio: The Summoning Charm" alongside a curved arrow symbol. Dive into the magic of Epic Universe with a prompt to "View More.

Finally, at the end of Rue Malabête is a fountain, where Accio (the summoning charm) will help guests retrieve something.

Additionally, new spell spots and effects were added to the existing Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade locations. Stay tuned for our full look at each spell spot.
