FIRST LOOK at Mural For New Magic Kingdom Disney Vacation Club Lounge

Disney Vacation Club shared a photo of a mural at the new Disney Vacation Club lounge coming soon to Magic Kingdom.

Sneak Peek at Mural for New Disney Vacation Club Lounge in Magic Kingdom

Text on a brick wall reads "The Frontier's Best Kept Secret" in decorative black and blue fonts.

The mural, painted directly on a brick wall, reads, “The Frontier’s Best Kept Secret.” The text is black with blue filigree. DVC wrote on Instagram, “The wildest lounge in the wilderness is headin’ your way real soon! Double tap if you’re excited to visit Disney Vacation Club McKim’s Mile House – A Member Lounge at Magic Kingdom Park!”

Construction site in front of a log cabin-style building with a sign reading "New Frontiers Await." People are walking and a person in a mobility scooter passes by. Trees and greenery are visible.

A railing in the Instagram photo suggests it’s near some steps. If we had to guess, we would assume the mural is on the brick wall to the right of the lounge, as seen in our above photo of lounge construction from last month. The mural’s text style matches that of the “New Frontiers Await” text on the construction wall.

A cozy log cabin interior with people enjoying activities. Children lounge near the fireplace, and adults converse. The walls feature assorted framed art and a large stone hearth, reminiscent of a Disney Vacation Club retreat near Magic Kingdom.

Disney Vacation Club McKim’s Mile House — A Member Lounge is named for Disney Legend Sam McKim, who created inspirational sketches for Disneyland, including for Slue Foot Sue’s Golden Horseshoe Revue in Frontierland. Disney said the new lounge’s design is “inspired by the adventurous spirit of exploration from a bygone era.”

The lounge takes over the former Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade space. The opening day attraction closed permanently last June. The lounge is expected to open by this summer.
