Crews are constructing a new set of entrance signs for Universal Orlando Resort at the intersection of Kirkman Rd and Major Blvd / Tom Williams Wy.
New Universal Sign
When approaching the resort, guests will now see “Universal” spelled out in giant letters next to the road. The new signage more clearly delineates this intersection as the main entrance to Universal Orlando Resort.
The white letters have gold borders. They’re bolted down but appear free-standing in front of a white background atop a gray platform with a long blue planter full of small shrubs.
Landscaping isn’t done around the sign, as there are still some piles of dirt and orange cones.
It also looks like a matching sign is underway across the road. This corner has the same series of blue, gray, and white platforms but no lettering yet.
These new signs come just a few weeks after Universal Orlando Resort debuted several new signs featuring screens that display IPs. They are at the resort’s other entrances, including near Epic Universe.
