Crews have started to replace the bricks at the entrance to Liberty Square in Magic Kingdom.

Stanchions and ropes blocked a small section of the walkway on Friday morning just before the Liberty Square bridge.

A brick sidewalk with two distinct patterns: a central section of red and brown bricks in a basket weave design, surrounded by a herringbone pattern, divided by metal stanchions.

The bricks within the roped-off area are clearly freshly placed. They’re not as scuffed and faded as the bricks around them.

White mortar shows between the bricks to the sides of the fresh square.

We can expect more bricks to be replaced in the coming weeks, likely in phases so the entire bridge does not have to be closed.

Adventureland received new pavement late last year.
