Before the return of CineSational: A Symphonic Spectacular, crews are working on the show’s fountains and along the edge of the Universal Studios Florida lagoon.

Universal Studios Florida Lagoon Construction

A large, teal, rectangular construction barrier stands on a concrete surface under a clear blue sky, with a portable fence on the left and a streetlamp on the right.

There are construction walls up around the edge of the lagoon just past the Central Park archway.

The construction walls block the lower two pathways and part of the upper path.

As of March 19, there is scaffolding in the lagoon on the other side of the construction walls. The scaffolding is wrapped in tan scrim.

It runs right up against the stone wall of the lagoon, around some fake rocks. This could mean the wall or railing needed repairs.

The show fountain platforms have been raised from the water for a few days. On March 17, we saw crew members working on the fountains.

We couldn’t tell exactly what they were doing, but we would guess general maintenance.
