Crews have removed most of the scaffolding and scrim from Elias & Co. at Disney California Adventure. The shop’s facade has been under refurbishment since January.
Elias & Co. Refurbishment
The refurbishment involved repainting the exterior and updating details. There are still construction walls on this side but work is near complete. This particular facade is the last one remaining on Buena Vista Street from the opening of Disney California Adventure in 2001.
The gold elements of this marquee are looking extra shiny.
“The Buena Vista Bugle: Trumpeting the news daily” appears to have been repainted. The letters are crisp.
There is still scaffolding on the rounded corner of the building near the Storytellers statue. The camouflage scrim was removed, indicating work may almost be complete.
Elias & Co. remains open during work on the facade.
