  • 🆕Spring Beer Flight – $18.00
  • 🆕California Punch – $8.00

*NEW* Lemon Pepper Wings – $9.00
with Garlic Ranch

The wings themselves were good. The chicken was juicy and tender. However, the lemon was so overpowering, it was as if you bit into one. The garlic ranch sauce was bad and did nothing to help.

Rating out of 7: 1

*NEW* Sloppy Joe Slider featuring Impossible Beef – $8.00
with Cheese

This was another disappointment. People looking for a plant-based option might appreciate this, but it was poorly seasoned. Sometimes, the Disneyland Resort team makes the Impossible meat indistinguishable from the real deal, but this was not one of those times.

Rating out of 7: 2

*NEW* Mango Guava Cocktail – $17.00
Vodka, Mango Purée, Guava Nectar, Cucumber Syrup and Lemon Juice, garnished with a Rainbow Sour Belt Gummy

The non-alcoholic version of this drink was good. The vodka ruined it. It tasted metallic and awful.

Rating out of 7: 0

*NEW* California Punch – $8.00
Mango Purée, Guava Nectar, Cucumber Syrup and Lemon Juice, garnished with a Mango Chile Lollipop

This is the non-alcoholic version of the above, and it was very good. It didn’t suffer form the sticky, sugary problem of many theme park drinks. The juice mocktail was well complemented by the mango chile lollipop.

Cluck-A-Doodle-Moo

Food:

  • 🆕Asa’DOS – $9.75

Beverages:

  • 🆕Açai Passion Tea-ki Cocktail – $18.00
  • 🆕Estrella Jalisco Michelada – $18.50
  • 🆕LA Bodega Költura Kölsch – $16.25
  • 🆕Study Break LA Punch Hard Seltzer – $16.25
  • 🆕Estrella Jalisco Mexican Lager – $14.25
  • 🆕Golden Road Ride On Tropical Hazy IPA – $16.25
  • 🆕Russian River Blind Pig IPA – $16.25

*NEW* Asa’DOS – $9.75
Grilled Skirt Steak and Chipotle Chicken with Spanish Rice and Salsa Verde

The steak was a little on the tough side but it was packed with flavor. It paired very well with the spicy salsa verde. The chicken, rice, and tortilla were solid additions.

Rating out of 7: 5

*NEW* Açai Passion Tea-ki Cocktail – $18.00
Pineapple Rum, Dark Rum, Passion Fruit Syrup, Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Co. Açai Black Tea and Lime Juice, garnished with a Skewered Luxardo Cherry and Pineapple Wedge

This is a smooth, well-balanced tiki cocktail. It’s not too syrupy.

Rating out of 7: 5

Garlic Kissed

Food:

  • 🆕Sirloin Gruyére Mac & Cheese – $9.00

*NEW* Sirloin Gruyére Mac & Cheese – $9.00
with Black Garlic Chimichurri and Garlic Butter Crunch

This would have been much better if the steak wasn’t so chewy. The garlic butter crunch also had a strange sandy texture. The mac & cheese was great, though, and very hearty.

Golden Dreams

Food:

  • 🆕Musubi Fried Rice brought to you by Disney Vacation Club – $8.50
  • 🆕Cherry Cobbler Pot de Crème – $7.50

*NEW* Musubi Fried Rice brought to you by Disney Vacation Club – $8.50
AULANI Resort-inspired Steamed Rice with Egg, Glazed Spiced Ham, Umami Mayo and Furikake

This was excellent. The glaze and spices are fantastic and the dish overall is cooked to perfection. Maybe Disney Vacation Club should bring more dishes to the table.

Rating out of 7: 7

*NEW* Cherry Cobbler Pot de Crème – $7.50
Vanilla Custard, Cherry Filling and Oat Crumble

The filling was refreshingly fresh, but poorly flavored. It was overly tart. We hoped the custard would cut through the tartness, but it did nothing to help. The oat crumble, at least, was soft and tasty.

Rating out of 7: 3

LA Style

Food:

  • 🆕Western BBQ Burger Bao – $9.50
  • 🆕Mini LA Street Dog – $8.00

*NEW* Western BBQ Burger Bao – $9.50
with Sweet Barbecue Sauce, Nueske’s Applewood Smoked Bacon and Crispy Onions

This is a terrible value and poor quality at that. It’s incredibly salty and the low-quality barbecue sauce drowns out any hope for the meat. The bao was poorly done as well.

Rating out of 7: 1

*NEW* Mini LA Street Dog – $8.00
with Jalapeño Mayo, Pepper & Onion Relish and Nueske’s Applewood Smoked Bacon

This is worth a try. We wish we could get it full size. The mayo has a strong jalapeño kick that pairs well with the smokey bacon.

Rating out of 7: 6

*NEW* Mercado de Antojos

Food:

  • 🆕Birria Mac & Cheese – $9.00
  • 🆕Café de Olla Tres Leches Cake – $7.75

Beverages:

  • 🆕Raspberry Horchata – $7.50

*NEW* Birria Mac & Cheese – $9.00
with Onion-Cilantro Sauce and Tortilla Crunch

If you get this hot and fresh, it’s fantastic. It has a complex, well-balanced flavor profile. The spice is mild but effective. We highly recommend it.

Rating out of 7: 7

*NEW* Café de Olla Tres Leches Cake – $7.75
Café De Olla-infused Tres Leches topped with Piloncillo Chantilly, Cinnamon and a Mickey-shaped Cookie

As appropriate for a tres leches cake, this was very moist and flavorful. It reminded us of an elevated tiramisu. The Mickey icon cookie is less than stellar, but it’s cute. The serving is also generous and could easily be shared, making it a good value.

Rating out of 7: 6

*NEW* Raspberry Horchata – $7.50
Raspberry, Almond & Cinnamon Syrups, Rice Pudding, Milk and Condensed Milk, garnished with Skewered Raspberries

The raspberry is very strong and not artificial. It reminded us of an almond-raspberry cookie with milk. We’d definitely have this again.

Rating out of 7: 6

Peppers Cali-Ente

Food:

  • 🆕Corn Chip Chili Pie featuring Impossible Beef – $8.00

Beverages:

  • 🆕Pickle Whiskey Sour Cocktail – $18.25

*NEW* Corn Chip Chili Pie featuring Impossible Beef – $8.00
Seasoned Impossible Beef, Spicy Cheese Sauce, Tomatoes, Sliced Jalapeños and Crema

This is one of those times where the culinary team takes the Impossible meat and makes it work for everyone. The spices and seasonings do a lot of good work here to make a fun twist on walking tacos.

Rating out of 7: 6

*NEW* Pickle Whiskey Sour Cocktail – $18.25
Bourbon, Pickle Juice, Lime Juice, Sweet & Sour, garnished with Tajín Chile Lime Sauce, Tajín and a Pickle Spear

The pickle fans among us loved this. It was refreshing and complex. If you’re not a fan of pickle juice, though, it’s best to skip out.

Rating out of 7: 3 or 6 (depending on your opinion of pickles)

Uncork California

Beverages:

  • 🆕Lychee Melon Cocktail – $18.00

  • 🆕Cocktail Flight – $20.00
  • 🆕Kendall-Jackson, Vintner’s Reserve – $17.00
  • 🆕Duckhorn Vineyards – $21.00
  • 🆕Daou Vineyards, Chemin de Fleurs – $21.00
  • 🆕J. Lohr Vineyards, Seven Oaks – $17.00
  • 🆕Silverado Vineyards, Mt. George – $21.00
  • 🆕Presqu’ile Winery – $21.00
  • 🆕J Vineyards & Winery, J Cuvée – $21.00
  • 🆕White Wine Flight – $19.00
  • 🆕White Wine Flight – $19.00

*NEW* Green Apple Slush Cocktail – $18.50
Green Apple BeatBox, Blue Curaçao Syrup, Melon Liqueur, Kiwi Purée and Lime Juice, garnished with a Shark Gummy

Several offerings this year are very tart, but this is one where it works well. The melon is stronger than the green apple, but not to its detriment.

Rating out of 7: 5

*NEW* Cocktail Flight – $20.00
Lychee Melon Cocktail, California Wine Cocktail, Strawberry and Cola Cocktail

If you like lychee, you’ll enjoy the Lychee Melon Cocktail, but it’s definitely an acquired taste. The California Wine Cocktail was awful. The Strawberry Cola Cocktail wasn’t quite as bad, but we didn’t enjoy it.

Rating out of 7: 4

Aunt Cass Café

Food:

  • 🆕Burrata Toast – $8.49

Beverages:

  • 🆕Placido Pinot Grigio – $13

*NEW* Burrata Toast – $8.49
Toasted Sourdough, Onion Jam, Burrata, Tomatoes, Arugula, and Balsamic Glaze

This is messy to eat, but worth it. The ingredients are fresh and tasty. It’s a decent serving size, too.

Rating out of 7: 5

Award Weiners

Food:

  • 🆕Mini LA Street Dog – $7.49

*NEW* Mini LA Street Dog – $7.49
with Jalapeño Mayo, Pepper and Onion Relish, and Nueske’s Applewood Smoked Bacon, and crispy Onions

A hand holds a gourmet hot dog crowned with crispy bacon, onions, and mustard in a cardboard tray, set against a classic red and white backdrop that's reminiscent of your favorite food truck or casual wine pairing event.

This is worth a try. We wish we could get it full size. The mayo has a strong jalapeño kick that pairs well with the smokey bacon.

Rating out of 7: 6

Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta

Food:

  • 🆕Smoked Hawaiian Pizza – $9.49 per slice or $47.49 for whole pizza
  • 🆕Pineapple and Coconut Cheesecake – $6.79

*NEW* Smoked Hawaiian Pizza – $9.49 per slice or $47.49 for whole pizza
Spicy Marinara, Smoked Mozzarella, Glazed Ham, and charred Pineapple

This is the same cafeteria-quality pizza with sauce, ham, and pineapple added. It’s fine. It’s not terrible. Still, there are so many better options at the festival than sub-par pizza that we can’t recommend it.

Rating out of 7: 3

*NEW* Pineapple and Coconut Cheesecake – $6.79
Coconut Cheesecake topped with Pineapple Jam, Pineapple Mousse, and a Maraschino Cherry

The pineapple comes through up front with coconut on the back end for a very DOLE Whip-esque taste. It’s a decent dessert choice.

Rating out of 7: 6

Cappuccino Cart

Food:

  • 🆕Coffee Bundt Cake – $7.25

*NEW* Coffee Bundt Cake – $7.25
Coffee Bundt Cake with Chocolate Mousse filling and a Coffee-Flavored Liqueur Glaze

This is similar to previous offerings at the Cappuccino Cart, with dark chocolate substituted for milk chocolate this year. The cake itself is moist and the glaze is decadent.

Rating out of 7: 7

Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream

Food:

  • 🆕Strawberry Shortcake – $7.99

*NEW* Strawberry Shortcake – $7.99
Angel Food Cake, Vanilla Ice Cream, Strawberry Syrup, Whipped Topping, and Fresh Strawberries

This is nothing special. It’s an okay strawberry shortcake. Skip this and try one of the more unique dessert offerings.

Rating out of 7: 2

Corn Dog Castle

Food:

  • 🆕SoCal Corn Dog – $10.79 or $13.29 combo

*NEW* SoCal Corn Dog – $10.79 or $13.29 combo
rolled in Fries and topped with Tomato and Pickle Relish, American Cheese, and House Dressing (combo served with Cuties Mandarin Orange or Small Bag of Chips)

This is bad. Strangely, for how good the corn dogs usually are, the batter was part of the problem here. It just tasted off. It was also rather flavorless.

Rating out of 7: 2

Cozy Cone Motel 5: Popcone

Food:

  • 🆕Corn Chip Chili Pie – $7.49

*NEW* Corn Chip Chili Pie – $7.49
featuring IMPOSSIBLE Beef: Seasoned IMPOSSIBLE Beef, Spicy Cheese Sauce, Tomatoes, Sliced Jalapeños, and Crema

This is one of those times where the culinary team takes the Impossible meat and makes it work for everyone. The spices and seasonings do a lot of good work here to make a fun twist on walking tacos.

Rating out of 7: 6

The donuts at Lamplight Lounge are usually good and these were no exception. The strawberry flavor tasted fresh. The donuts were a little stale but still tasty.

Rating out of 7: 5

  • 🆕Pescado Zarandeado – $29.99
  • 🆕Lime Parfait – $7.29

  • 🆕Hard Peach Tea Seltzer – $14.50

*NEW* Chicken Taquitos Ahogados – $14.99
Served in Salsa Verde with Spanish rice, Avocado Crema, Sour Cream, Pickled Onion, Cotija, and Cilantro

This is a full entree, as often is the case with Paradise Garden Grill. It’s a great value and an excellent dish. Everything came together for a delicious meal.

Rating out of 7: 7

*NEW* Pescado Zarandeado – $29.99
Whole Grilled Fish with Corn Tortillas, Refried Beans, Spanish Rice, Zesty Slaw, Pickled Vegetables, and a side of Chips and Salsa

Unlike the taquitos, this one misses the mark entirely. Most guests won’t enjoy a full, bone-in fish. To make matters worse, it was very fishy. It’s a huge dish but unfortunately it doesn’t deliver.

Rating out of 7: 1

*NEW* Lime Parfait – $7.29
Layers of Graham Cracker Crust, Lime Cream Cheese Mousse, and Lime-Orange Gelée topped with Chantilly

This is another overly tart offering. The lime was overpowering and seeped into the other ingredients. It wasn’t terrible, but we won’t be back.

Rating out of 7: 2

Smokejumpers Grill

Food:

  • 🆕Lemon Pepper Wings – $8.29

Beverages:

  • 🆕Pickle Whiskey Sour Cocktail – $17

*NEW* Lemon Pepper Wings – $8.29
with Garlic Ranch

The wings themselves were good. The chicken was juicy and tender. However, the lemon was so overpowering, it was as if you bit into one. The garlic ranch sauce was bad and did nothing to help.

Rating out of 7: 1

*NEW* Pickle Whiskey Sour Cocktail – $17
Bourbon, Pickle Juice, Lime Juice, and Sweet and Sour garnished with Tajín Mild Hot Sauce rim, Tajín, and a Pickle Spear

The pickle fans among us loved this. It was refreshing and complex. If you’re not a fan of pickle juice, though, it’s best to skip out.

Rating out of 7: 3 or 6 (depending on your opinion of pickles)

Beverages:

  • 🆕Study Break Ube Hard Seltzer – $15

*NEW* Birria Mac & Cheese – $9

Rating out of 7: 7

Studio Catering Co.

Food:

  • 🆕Thai-inspired Burrito – $13.99
  • 🆕Salsa Verde Chicharrón Tacos – $11.99

*NEW* Thai-inspired Burrito – $13.99
Chicken Satay, Pad Thai Noodles, Peanut Sauce, Pineapple Fried Rice, and Chile Crisp

This tastes like spicy peanut butter. The chicken isn’t great quality, but the noodles and rice are very flavorful.

Rating out of 7: 5

*NEW* Salsa Verde Chicharrón Tacos – $11.99
Pork Belly Chicharrón tossed in Warm Salsa Verde and topped with Salsa Macha and Pickled Onions

The chicharróns were too hard and there was hardly any salsa verde. Skip this.

Rating out of 7: 1

Terran Treats

Food:

  • 🆕Crème Brûlée Churro – $7.25

*NEW* Crème Brûlée Churro – $7.25
Pastry Cream, Strawberry Coulis, and crushed Brûléed Sugar

This doesn’t quite taste like a crème brûlée, but more like a Boston Cream donut. It was, however, very tasty. We wish the icing was more evenly distributed, but it’s still worth a try.

Rating out of 7: 6

Outdoor Vending Locations

Food:

  • 🆕Teriyaki Turkey Leg – $15

*NEW* Teriyaki Turkey Leg – $15

It tastes better than it looks. The turkey is tender and moist, and the teriyaki adds a sweet note.

Rating out of 7: 4

Churros at Hollywood Land

Food:

  • 🆕Peach Tea Churro – $7.50

*NEW* Peach Tea Churro – $7.50
Classic Churro rolled in Peach Sugar with Diced Peaches and Peach Tea Sauce

The peach flavors are subtle and refreshing. The peach chunks are cold and added a nice touch.

Rating out of 7: 5

Churros near Goofy’s Sky School & Senor Buzz Churros on Pixar Pier

Food:

  • 🆕Mango Sticky Rice-inspired Churro – $7.50

*NEW* Mango Sticky Rice-inspired Churro – $7.50
Classic Churro rolled in sugar with Sticky Rice and Mango Pieces

This beat our expectations with a great blend of sweet and tangy. The churro itself was a little undercooked but we expect that’s an anomaly.

Rating out of 7: 6

Willie’s Churros at Buena Vista Street

Food:

  • 🆕Strawberry-Caramel Churro – $7.50

*NEW* Strawberry-Caramel Churro – $7.50
with Whipped Topping, Strawberries, and Caramel

Starting the day off strong. This churro is perfectly cooked. It uses a strawberry flavored sugar, and the balance with the caramel is perfect with the fresh strawberries. This is one of the best churros we’ve had at DCA.
