Tokyo Disney Opening Standby Lines for Fantasy Springs Attractions Next Month

Tokyo Disney Resort will open regular standby lines for Fantasy Springs attractions beginning in April.

Since Fantasy Springs opened last summer, guests have needed to obtain either a free Standby Pass or purchase Disney Premier Access for an attraction. Standby Pass is essentially a virtual queue, giving guests a specified time to join the attraction’s line, while Disney Premier Access is similar to Lightning Lane, offering guests a shorter wait.

Beginning on April 1, 2025, guests will be able to walk right up to an attraction and join the queue without the need for Standby Pass. Disney Premier Access will still be available for purchase.

Until January of this year, guests could not enter Fantasy Springs without a Standby Pass or Disney Premier Access to an attraction. When it became free to enter, guests still needed one of the pass options to ride an attraction, but they could enjoy the rest of the land as they wished.

Fantasy Springs is the newest Tokyo DisneySea port, split into three areas inspired by “Peter Pan,” “Tangled,” and “Frozen.” Read our full guide to Fantasy Springs.
