Walt Disney Imagineering has filed a new Notice of Commencement permit for Star Tours – The Adventures Continue at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

The description of the permit is to “Install set elements.” The permit notes that the location for installing the set elements is 1365 Avenue of the Stars, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830. This is the approximate address of Star Tours – The Adventure Continue, and the former Jedi Training Academy stage right next to it.
The permit lists ThemeWorks, Inc. as the contractor. The company has previously worked with Disney on the Smellephants on Parade at Magic Kingdom, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, and Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser.
Disney has not released any information regarding upcoming changes to Star Tours or the former Jedi Training Academy stage. The latter shuttered during the COVID-19 park closures in 2020 and did not return once the parks reopened. The show’s performers were impacted by layoffs that same year.
Last year, new adventures featuring characters and locations from “The Mandalorian,” “Ahsoka,” and “Andor” were added to the attraction.
