Walt Disney Studios shared a short clip on X announcing that the official trailer for “TRON: Ares” will debut tomorrow.
‘TRON: Ares’ Trailer Releasing This Week
At CinemaCon this week, Disney unveiled a new teaser for the film, with star Jared Leto saying, “This movie will hit you right in the grid,” per Deadline. It is unclear if the trailer tomorrow will be the same teaser shown at CinemaCon, or something new.
“TRON: Ares” stars Leto as Ares, “a sentient program that crosses over into the human world that is not ready for contact.”
The film is directed by Joachim Rønning. Other members of the cast include Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Hasan Minhaj, Jodie Turner-Smith, Arturo Castro, Cameron Monaghan, and Gillian Anderson.
Disney shared a first image of “TRON: Ares” in February 2024 and production for the film began in January 2024.
The image featured an unknown character wearing a black suit with red lights, who could be Ares, Leto’s character.
The film will hit theaters on October 10, 2025.
