The British magazine The Daily Mirror has revealed the first concept art for a new Universal Studios Park coming to Great Britain.

Leaked Concept Art for Universal Studios Great Britain

The newspaper's front page features headlines, "One More Knife Tragedy" and "A Cruel Life," detailing a 16-year-old Syrian victim's plight. Alongside, an article by Harry raises fairness concerns, stirred by leaked concept art from the upcoming Universal UK Theme Park.

The Daily Mirror, a magazine published in Great Britain, has shared the cover of their upcoming issue from April 9, 2025. Images of the cover were then shared on social media by @USGBUpdates on X. The top right corner of the cover immediately grabbed the attention of theme park fans, as it shows the first ever leaked concept art of Universal Studios Great Britain. The art is included with an article titled “Keir on a Roll, PM Starmer to announce UK theme park.”

Universal has not officially announced the construction of a Universal Studios in the UK, though updates have swirled for over a year. The news first broke in December of 2023, when Universal Destinations & Experiences acquired land in Bedford, England. Universal executives later confirmed in an interview that they were in the early stages of theme park planning.

A few days after the news, Universal launched a “UK Project” webpage describing the potential park:

Universal Destinations & Experiences is a leader in operating the most innovative and immersive theme parks and resorts around the world.

Last year, we confirmed the purchase of an approximately 476-acre parcel of land just south of Bedford with the goal of exploring a potential new theme park and resort experience at this site.

A few months later, the Bedford Borough Council and other local political leaders wrote a letter to Prime Minister Keir Starmer expressing their support of the potential Universal Studios Great Britain project.

Daily Mirror front page features Prince Harry's court appeal alongside the buzz of a new Universal Studios theme park deal, with concept art hinting at a magical experience that could rival any Great Britain attraction.

Zooming in closer to the concept art, it appears like the park will have a large central lagoon with themed lands running around the sides. Fans have already attempted to identify some of the possible franchises depicted in the art, with top guesses currently including Waterworld and Jurassic World. Interestingly, fans have so far been unable to spot a potential land themed to “Harry Potter,” despite the series being set in the UK. Of course, it is possible this concept art is old or no longer reflects the park’s current design plans.

Fans have already confirmed that this concept art for Universal Studios Great Britain is indeed official. A screenshot posted by Attraction Source, @AttractionSc on X, shows Prime Minister Starmer personally reviewing a printed version of this same concept art during a news segment. The logo for Universal can be seen partially obscured in the bottom left corner.
