During Wednesday’s Nintendo Direct stream, Nintendo revealed the ninth Mario Kart game, Mario Kart World.
Mario Kart World
Mario Kart World will release exclusively on the Nintendo Switch 2 as a launch title. The console and game will be released later this year.
Nintendo will share more details about the game during Mario Kart World Direct on April 17 at 6 a.m. PT.
The video reveal, embedded below, features a variety of racetracks, returning characters with customizable outfits, special racing abilities, and more.
LEGO recently revealed a new Mario Kart set, currently available for pre-order.
Starting on May 22, Universal Orlando Resort guests will be able to experience Mario Kart in the real world with Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge. The ride will be part of Super Nintendo World at Epic Universe. Super Nintendo World opened with the Mario Kart attraction at Universal Studios Japan in 2021 and Universal Studios Hollywood in 2023.
