Work continues on the On Location facade, with new pipe-like fixtures added to the exterior and primer painted on the walls. The Universal Studios Florida entrance gift shop closed to guests in February 2025.

Since our last update, new pipe-like fixtures have been added to the front facade of the shop. These now cover the previous plaster marks where the store’s signage was once located and paneling was removed.

These bar fixtures may be purely decorative. Some sections are connected with gray plaster. They run along the front corner only, rather than covering the entire upper perimeter of the building. Previously, the shop’s signage included small silver bar-like fixtures.

The back of the building has received new paint primer, running up to the top of the plaster that was added in our last update. We saw the gutted interior of the shop in this area in a previous update. The shop’s exterior lighting is still in place, but the speakers here have been covered by plastic, likely for the primer application. A new paint job will likely happen soon.

On Location previously stocked hats, sunglasses, and sun care products, but rumors suggest that the location will become a new sweets shop.
