Easter season has arrived at Walt Disney World, and Disney’s Contemporary Resort has now installed its annual chocolate egg display.
2025 Disney’s Contemporary Resort Easter Egg Display

The display at Disney’s Contemporary Resort is located on the ground floor, near the entrance to Steakhouse 71.

Unlike in previous years, there are no chocolate eggs displayed on the fourth floor. The entire egg display is located in this one lobby area.

The eggs are displayed on three folding tables covered in black tablecloths. Most of the eggs are inspired by Disney and Pixar classic films, and all of them appeared to be new for this year’s display.
Dole Whip – Inspired by Disney Snacks
Created by Evan

This first egg resembles a swirled Dole Whip snack. The base is painted red to represent the cup, and the rest is swirled with yellow and white. A round cherry is stuck on top.
Baby Hercules
Created by Carisa

Baby Hercules is sleeping peacefully in his ornate cradle while hugging baby Pegasus. The cradle is white with feathered wings. Hercules and Pegasus are made of flat chocolate and are sleeping on a purple blanket.
Kakamora – Inspired by “Moana”

One of the taller egg displays is actually made of three eggs stacked on top of each other, with two more eggs sitting on either side. The eggs are painted brown and textured to look like the coconut bodies of the Kakamora. The pirates sit together on a log raft surrounded by waves.

While not labeled with a Cast Member’s name, a chocolate basket to the left of the Kakamora has a small chicken and a white token painted with the image of the resort’s iconic five-legged goat.
Land of the Dead – Inspired by “Coco”

The next egg is a hollowed-out semicircle made to look almost 3D. The bridge of orange flowers leads into the skyline of the Land of the Dead. Dante sits next to the bridge in his multicolored Alebrije form.
“Toy Story”

The tallest structure is on a round table toward the back of the display: a stack of four eggs inspired by Toy Story. The eggs sit next to wooden blocks that say “30 Years” for the film’s 30th anniversary and the Pixar Luxo Ball.

The bottom egg is wearing Woody’s cowboy outfit: a red necktie, yellow shirt, cow-print vest, and jeans. The second egg is green and includes Buzz Lightyear’s wings and buttons. The final two eggs include a sky-patterned egg with the “Toy Story” logo and the head of a Little Green Man.
Muppets
Created by Molly, Hannah, Clay, and Desirey

The large table in the middle of the display holds chocolate eggs all inspired by the Muppets.

Starting on the right side, a white egg is shaped like the body of Beaker. Beaker is wearing his white lab coat and has his usual concerned expression. He is surrounded by several oval-shaped beakers and vessels holding bubbling liquid. To Beaker’s left is an egg for Dr. Bunsen Honeydew, also wearing a lab coat and his signature round glasses.

Dr. Honeydew is holding a brown book titled “How to Cure an Eggsistential Crisis.”

A sign below this bubbling yellow beaker labels this section as “Muppet Labs” and is titled “The Eggsperiment.”

Moving to the colorful section of the table, the next egg is the tan face of the Swedish Chef. He has a bushy brown mustache and a monobrow below his poofy white chef’s hat.

Animal looks ready to “DRUM!” for this next egg. Strips of chocolate have been carved to look like Animal’s wild red fur.

Sam Eagle, meanwhile, is ready to salute America with his flag-colored top hat. Sam’s beak is sky blue, matching the color of his tufted feathers.

Fozzie Bear is wearing a polka-dotted neck scarf and a brown bowler hat. The egg has been textured to look like Fozzie’s short bear fur.

No Muppets display would be complete without an egg for Kermit the Frog. Kermit is smiling widely and has a layer of pointed green chocolate around his neck.

The final Muppets-inspired egg is dressed like the ever-glamourous Miss Piggy. Her long blonde hair is curled at the tips, and she is wearing a pink sparkly dress below a pearl necklace.
Maui’s Hook and Kakamora – Inspired by “Moana”

Moving to the table on the opposite side, this sandy rectangular section includes another Kakamora egg sitting next to Maui’s hook. The Heart of Te Fiti is also carved into a nearby green egg.
Tiana – Inspired by “Princess and the Frog”
Created by Michael

A large lime green egg sits in the middle of a white lily flower. A hole is cut into the middle of the egg, providing a glimpse of Tiana’s silhouette as she is about to kiss Naveen.
The Muses – Inspired by “Hercules”
Created by Margo

Styled like a Greek vase, this orange egg sits on an ornate gold base and has matching gold handles. The front is painted using black lines with images of all five Muses and the “Hercules” wordmark.
The Miracle Candle – Inspired by “Encanto”
Created by Madelyn

This final egg on display is made to look like the walls and roof of the Casa Madrigal. Pink flowers are growing up the side of the egg, and a hollow section in the center has a 3D sculpture of the Miracle Candle.
Hidden Mickeys

In addition to the eggs on display, nearby Cast Members informed us that each table will include five Hidden Mickeys. Since the display was still being finished when we visited, not all of them had been added yet.

A few of the Mickey icons were painted on small eggs and worked into the display, while others were formed using the colored sprinkles beneath the eggs.

One more Hidden Mickey can be spotted in the yellow bubbles on the top of this beaker.
Other resorts that have already completed their chocolate egg displays include Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts.
