REVIEW: 5-Pack of ‘Inside Out’ Cotton Candy Will Send You on an Emotional Roller-Coaster at Disney World

Walt Disney World has a new 5-pack of “Inside Out”-inspired cotton candy to take you on an emotional and flavorful roller coaster.

5-Pack Emotions Cotton Candy – $16.49

A hand holds a pack of five "Inside Out" themed cotton candy containers, each featuring a different character, displayed in a store setting.

Each of the five 1.5-ounce tubs is inspired by a different one of the five emotions from “Inside Out.” Fear is grape-flavored, Anger is cinnamon, Sadness is blue raspberry, Joy is lemon, and Disgust is pickle.

Two cotton candy containers with cartoon faces: one purple labeled "Fear Grape" and one pink labeled "Anger Cinnamon." Each container is 1.5 oz and part of a five-pack.

The Fear cotton candy has an artificial grape flavor, but it’s more subtle than typical grape candies. We liked it.

Rating out of 7: 5

Three cotton candy containers with cartoon faces: purple (Fear Grape), pink (Anger Cinnamon), blue (Sadness Blue Raspberry). A hand holds the pink container in a store setting.

We wish the cinnamon cotton candy was spicier, but it had a nice subtle flavor.

Close-up of three containers of cotton candy featuring characters. Flavors: Anger Cinnamon, Sadness Blue Raspberry, and Joy Lemon. Each container is 1.5 oz.

The Sadness Blue Raspberry was our favorite. It has a stronger flavor than the usual blue cotton candy sold at Disney Parks.

Rating out of 7: 7

Three containers of cotton candy with cartoon faces. Flavors include 'Joy Lemon', 'Sadness Blue Raspberry', and 'Disgust Pickle'.

Joy Lemon was kind of boring. There was a subtle tartness to the lemon flavor.

Green cotton candy container with a cartoon face labeled "Disgust Pickle Artificially Flavored Cotton Candy." Yellow cotton candy is partially visible beside it.

The Disgust cotton candy is weird, as you might expect. We love pickles, but this was more like the aftertaste of a pickle or a sweet pickle that had been watered down and left out.

Rating out of 7: 7 for the weirdness, but 3 for our enjoyment

The nutrition facts box for this Disney-inspired product captures all the essentials, including serving size, calories, and macronutrients. With a total weight of 7.5 oz (212g), it's like a sweet reminder of Walt Disney World magic.

Overall, this is a fun treat, and you get your money’s worth, whether you want to try a flight of cotton candy on your own or split it with friends. It’s a fun experience. If you don’t like sugar or adventurous flavors, you’ll be disappointed.
