REVIEW: New Butterbeer Flavored Bar Available at Universal Orlando Resort

A new sweet treat is now available at the Universal Orlando Resort. We found the Butterbeer Flavored Bar at the Universal Studios Store in CityWalk.

The bar is wrapped in gold and green paper with a decorative banner that reads “Butterbeer,” with another banner below it that reads “Butterbeer Flavored Bar.”

White Chocolate Bar with Butterbeer Flavor

A person holds a white chocolate bar labeled "Butterbeer" in front of a lake with a cloudy sky in the background.

The top of the bar tastes like white chocolate, while the bottom of the bar is yellow and tastes like butterbeer. The combination makes the butterbeer flavor a bit less sweet than its drink form. The flavor isn’t bad, but the level of sweetness is unexpected for a chocolate bar.

The bar melts quickly in the Florida heat, but is still pretty good. While we did enjoy the chocolate bar, we would have preferred a frozen butterbeer drink instead. The bar would be fun to have when you get back home and want a butterbeer but can’t just pop back into the park for one.

It’s helpful to note that those who dislike butterbeer will absolutely detest this chocolate bar, as the white chocolate doesn’t change the flavor enough from the usual drink.
