A new breakfast item is now available at the Friar’s Nook at Magic Kingdom.
The Friar’s Nook

The Friar’s Nook is located in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom. The quick-service eatery is inspired by the classic Disney film “Robin Hood” and serves American cuisine. The new breakfast offering of Apple Cider Doughnuts replaces the former item of Tiana’s Famous Beignets.
Apple Cider Doughnuts – $6.49
with Caramel Sauce

The doughnuts were fine. There was nothing super special about them, but it’s always nice to have a few more options available at Magic Kingdom. The green sprinkles had an artificial apple flavor, and the caramel drizzle did not add much flavor. We would have preferred the sauce served on the side for dipping, as they were a little dry in the middle.

The doughnuts were a decent size but very dense, not a great deal for the price. The inside had a slight apple flavor. A few of the doughnuts we tried had small chunks of apple in them, while others had none, so the apple distribution does need some work.

Overall, if you enjoy apple-flavored food and want some doughnuts or a quick snack on the go, these would be a good option. They are not something we would specifically visit Magic Kingdom for.
