The Hibiscus Lemonade Cocktail, Frozen Lemon Tea Cocktail, and various beers have been available for the whole festival. We reviewed those items (and every other item at the festival) on opening day.
*NEW* Grilled Peaches and Burrata – $5.50
with Prosciutto, Petite Lettuce, Micro Mint, and Sweet-Tea Lemon Gastrique

This is a really well-thought-out dish. All of the flavors worked in harmony. The peaches are freshly grilled with a note of char. There is enough sweetness that mixes really well with the salty prosciutto, and the creamy burrata brings it all together. The only flavor that did not come through was the tea gastrique, though the dish didn’t feel lacking without it. Overall, this is a good portion size for the price and fun for the festival. We will definitely be back for this one.

*NEW* Warm Corn Cookie – $5.25
with Sweet Corn Soft-serve, Brûléed Corn, Lime Zest, and White Chocolate

We liked this dish. The soft-serve is heavy on the corn flavor, but it’s done well. It had just enough sweetness to make it a dessert, and the lime zest added a tang that cut through, bringing the different flavors together.
The cookie was the weakest part of the dish. It was chewy and bland. We hoped it would taste similar to cornbread, but it was closer to a sugar cookie with a hint of corn. The texture was also a bit off.
Overall, this is a good offering and worth the try for the price point, especially if you like corn. We suggest eating it inside the air conditioning as the soft-serve melts quickly.

Seared Pork Tenderloin- $7.25
with Corn Risotto featuring Ben’s Original International Grains Arborio Rice and Roasted Red Pepper Sauce

Returning from last year’s Summer Solstice menu, this risotto is a perfect quick bite if you’re looking for something small and flavorful. The red pepper sauce is full-bodied and not overly spicy. The corn and rice blend perfectly together and with the pork. The tender pork was cooked to perfection.
