Walt Disney World has announced the booking dates for The Beak and Barrel, the new Pirates of the Caribbean tavern opening this year at Magic Kingdom.
The Beak and Barrel Booking Dates
According to the Walt Disney World website, Disney Resort hotel guests can book their reservations to dine at The Beak and Barrel starting June 12, 2025. Specifically, these reservations will be to dine on select nights from August 15 through October 31, during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. All other guests will be able to book reservations starting June 16.
This venue, housed inside the former footprint of The Pirates League, will offer guests a 45-minute window (similar to Oga’s Cantina) to enjoy bites and beverages, including cocktails for guests ages 21 and up. A full menu has not yet been released.
According to its storyline, The Beak and Barrel was “established by Captain Merry Goldwyn, and is overseen by Rummy, her chatty parrot quartermaster,” who “bears a striking resemblance to the original Barker Bird,” a.k.a. Peg-Leg Pete. Dining pirates will be regaled with sing-alongs, storytelling, and more “enchanting surprises.”
The Beak and Barrel is still listed as opening in late 2025, so it is possible that it will fully open once the Halloween party season has concluded. Disney has yet to confirm an official opening date to all guests.
