The Coke and Sprite droid carts that used to be seen in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge have now been added to the hallway by the old entrance of the Galactic Starcruiser.

Theme park visitors stroll past a weathered, sci-fi building at Disney's Hollywood Studios under a clear blue sky.

The hallway that used to be an entrance to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge from the Galactic Starcruiser is located to the left of First Order Cargo.

A concrete doorway with metal barriers and a Sprite-branded post, set against a textured wall.

Shortly after the Starcruiser’s closure, the doorway arch leading out to the entrance was blocked by themed barrels and boxes. The Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser building is set to become offices for Walt Disney Imagineering.

A new addition to this hallway are the Diet Coke and Sprite droid carts previously seen around the land. The original Coke droid cart debuted in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in 2019 at Disneyland Park. The original Coke droid cart would roll through the land alongside a Cast Member to sell the Star Wars-themed Coca-Cola products.

This white cart with the red stripe is specifically the Diet Coke version, which debuted in Hollywood Studios in 2020 following an appearance at Disneyland. The The R2 unit on this cart is named J5-KC.

A weathered, red and white Coke droid cart with wheels sits against a textured concrete wall.

Unlike the beverage-selling droid carts, the Diet Coke version was only ever used for cargo transport and did not sell the thermal detonator-style Coca-Cola products.

The name for Diet Coke is still visible on the top lid of the cart, written in the Star Wars language of Aurebesh.

The green Sprite cart has also been parked in this same hallway. Like the Diet Coke version, the Sprite cart was only used for restocking products and not for actually selling beverages.

This cart is bright green with white and yellow decoration to match the usual Sprite brand colors. Sprite’s wordmark is also printed on the top lid in more Aurebesh.

Both of these carts are now stationary inside the hallway, perhaps as an early decoration for May the 4th, also known as Star Wars Day. There has been no official announcement on why the carts have appeared again or how long they will be parked in Galaxy’s Edge.
