Two large trucks have now been parked by the main entrance to Test Track in EPCOT, while other crew members are working to install some new lighting.
Test Track Construction Update

While there is minimal scaffolding in front of the Test Track building in EPCOT, some new additions have arrived in the form of two white trucks parked in the guest walkway.

A white box truck was parked on the left side of the area, while a Ford truck pulling a trailer was parked on the right side. The right truck appears to have been carrying something on wooden pallets, but there was nothing present when we passed.

While most of the concrete work for the guest walkway appears to have been completed, the new Test Track sign is still missing. The concept art for the attraction shows a new sign going in the middle of the entrance path where there is currently a circular dirt hole.

Moving to the ground, we can see far more of the new roof structure now that all of the scaffolding has been removed from the front of the building. We could also hear the sound of the new ride vehicles testing on the strip of track near the front of the building, as they have been periodically running the cars since mid-April.

As we watched, two construction crew members were raised on a scissor lift to reach the area near the top of the roof structure. They appeared to be working on the edge section of the semicircle that is still covered with a black scrim. The concept art shows the edges of the roof as silver.

The signage for Test Track’s wait times was added during our last construction update. According to the concept art, there will be a total of three signs for the regular stand-by time, the Lightning Lane clock, and the single-rider line.

The digital clocks for the wait time signs have not been added yet, so the black cables are still visible through the front. However, the scaffolding in front of this sign is new, so crew members may be prepping the sign to be completed soon.

Further to the left of the sign, several of the square panels that are used to hide cables for the lighting and speakers were popped open. One hole had a ladder leading inside the roof structure, so we expect the remaining lighting fixtures and signage will be added soon.
Test Track has been closed since 2024 while the ride is reimagined into Test Track 3.0. Disney has mentioned this latest version will take inspiration from the former World of Motion attraction. Test Track is currently scheduled to reopen sometime in the summer of 2025, though no exact date has been shared yet.
