Animation Courtyard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is becoming more animated with the addition of a “Get Animated!” banner and a new refreshment booth.
‘Get Animated!’ Decorations & Signage

As WDWNT previously reported, there are colorful “Get Animated!” banners throughout Animation Courtyard. Matching murals are on the walls of the courtyard and the former Disney Junior meet and greet bays. For now, Disney Junior characters are meeting around Echo Lake.
A “Get Animated!” banner now covers the “Disney Jr. Play and Dance!” entrance sign. Despite this, “Disney Jr. Play and Dance!” will continue performances through Saturday, May 24. It will then temporarily close, and “Get Animated!” will run for Cool Kid Summer beginning on May 27.
The banner is red and white, inspired by an animator’s desk like the murals. “Get Animated!” is in contrasting letters with blue paint behind the second word.
There are also new wraps around the entrance columns, turning them into pencils. The bases resemble erasers with gold hardware, while the rest of the columns look like blue wood.
For comparison, above is a picture of the entryway as it usually looks.
Murals lining the theater’s outdoor queue feature white Mickey gloves holding pencils, set against blue, yellow, and red geometric designs. There are also colorful decals on the theater’s doors.
In front of Star Wars Launch Bay is a “Get Refreshed!” booth. The booth is not yet open, with a red curtain hanging over its front. It has a colorful backdrop matching the courtyard’s other murals. Short walls around the booth feature the phrase, “Get Refreshed!”
The walls also advertise Cool Kid Summer and Once Upon a Farm. The latter makes organic food for babies, toddlers, and kids. Presumably, some of their products will be available at the refreshment booth. There is also a regular Disney ice cream cart parked behind the kiosk.
Animation Courtyard will also have games, crafts, magicians, jump rope performers, and character appearances, all aimed at entertaining kids. Read more about Cool Kid Summer offerings.
