For the most space and the best view of Epic Universe, guests can choose the Presidential Suite of the Universal Helios Grand Hotel. This is the largest room type and we booked with concierge, which means we also got an adjoined 2 Queen Beds room. A Presidential Suite is also available without concierge.
Park View Presidential Suite With Concierge
Main Entry
The Presidential Suite has a giant entry with double doors. A caged orb light is on the ceiling. There’s a closet to one side and a small table on the other.
The table has some decorative elements. There are lots of fake candles throughout this suite, the first of which you’ll see here. A remote on the table is for controlling the candles. A large round mirror is above the table.
The entry closet is big. This is where the suite’s ironing board and iron are stored, along with a built-in safe, luggage rack, and hangers.
Bathroom
Around the corner from the entry is the living room bathroom. It’s enormous, with a lot of dead space. There’s a toilet and a vanity.
There’s a light pink theme in Helios Grand’s bathrooms, with spare toilet paper wrapped in pink and pink vanities. All of the vanities have a bath mat in front of them.
Unfortunately, there’s no light over this vanity, and the mirror doesn’t light up, leaving the space dark. It’s a wide unit with four small drawers.
Living & Dining Room
Outside the bathroom is a workspace with a desk and chair. There are several real books (mostly cookbooks) acting as decoration in the suite. On the desk are “Arabesque: A Taste of Morocco, Turkey, and Lebanon: A Cookbook” by Claudia Roden and “Ripe Figs: Recipes and Stories from Turkey, Greece, and Cyprus” by Yasmin Khan. The iPad controls various elements of the room and can also be used to contact guest services. Above the desk is paper art depicting phases of the moon, which is also on display in other rooms.
It is a little odd how much seating is in this suite that ostensibly only sleeps six people. But if you’re attending a conference or hosting guests, then it makes sense. There’s a large L-shaped couch in front of a big screen TV. Baskets hold additional throw pillows.
On the round coffee table are more books: “Portugal: The Cookbook” by Leandro Carreira and “Great Escapes Mediterranean: The Hotel Book” from TASCHEN.
The gigantic dining room table seats 10. Two chairs are situated facing out the window — and we think every room should have this. If you booked a park view, you want to sit and view the park.
The windows are almost floor-to-ceiling, offering a magnificent view straight down Celestial Park. The Presidential Suite is on the floor below Bar Helios, so it’s almost the highest view possible.
You can see every land and the Helios statue below.
It’s a great view of the fountain shows. We wish there were a way to hear the music in the hotel room — maybe they can make it available via a TV channel. But for now, that’s not a feature.
There’s cloud art above this console table, which provides some extra storage if you need it. There are three drawers. And more cookbooks: “Zaytinya: Delicious Mediterranean Dishes from Greece, Turkey, and Lebanon” by José Andrés, “Greece: The Cookbook” by Vefa Alexiadou, and “Bavel: Modern Recipes Inspired by the Middle East” by Ori Menashe, Genevieve Gergis, and Lesley Suter.
We don’t love how this area looks, with the exposed wires and metal strips on the floors. But this small table houses the room phone, a notepad and pen, and some more decorations.
Kitchen
Despite all the cookbooks, the Presidential Suite’s kitchen is not for cooking. There’s no stove or oven. It has a small bar with two seats.
We appreciate the rug in front of the sink.
There’s an Avanti microwave and a Nespresso coffee machine. The other rooms have unbranded coffee machines, but we wish they all had this nicer offering. The stocked pods were Colombia, Intenso, Chiaro, and Melozio.
There’s a mini fridge and freezer with a decent amount of space.

Speaking of space — there’s a lot of space under the sink and a large pantry. We don’t know why since you can’t cook. But you could use it for non-food storage if you really want.
There’s a sink and plenty of counter space. There’s an ice bucket, two glasses, and $8 Fiji water.
In the cabinet are wine glasses, spoons, cutlery, and coffee mugs.
Although you can’t cook, the concierge lounge is right across the hallway. So you can bring food and drinks back to your room easily.
Gym
The sliding glass doors in this hallway lead into a small workout room, one of the most unique features of the Presidential Suite.
It’s not soundproof, but it does cut out a lot of sound from the rest of the suite. There’s a Peloton and free weights. A TV is on the wall.

The gym also comes stocked with small water bottles, a yoga mat, kettlebells, and foam blocks.
It also has an incredible view, so you can ride the Peloton while looking out at Celestial Park.
The room is a little dimly lit. Controls for the lights, drapes, and sheers are next to the door.
King Bedroom
This is larger than the hotel’s standard king room, with lots of floor space between the door and bed.
The bed has white pillows, a blue bolster pillow, and a pale pink velvet blanket. It sits against a colorful, floral padded headboard. There are two sets of domed lights over two end tables.
Across from the bed is a mounted TV above a dresser unit with an attached desk.
The dresser unit has four drawers and a mini fridge.
There’s another phone on the desk. A blue chair is at the desk. The paper moon art is in this room as well.
Yet again, there is an amazing view, this time out of a set of bay windows. The pink chairs here are easy enough to turn around to look outside.
Unfortunately, you cannot see The Burning Blade Tavern in Dark Universe with its fiery windmill. You otherwise get almost a complete view of the park.
There’s a small round table and a standing lamp next to the window.
The carpet is dark blue, printed with large flowers.
King Bathroom
The attached bathroom has a pair of dark blue sliding, locking doors.
On the left is a full-length mirror. The double vanity is similar to the one in the living room bathroom, with four small drawers.
There’s a light-up makeup mirror and a large mirror. We like how the large mirror has cutouts for the caged lights on the side.
Light switches for the shower, bathtub, and bathroom (toilet) are on the wall near the door.

There’s a large walk-in closet. It has rails on both ends and a large empty space in the middle, which could be used for luggage. There’s additional bedding, bathrobes, a luggage rack, a safe, hangers, and a hair dryer.
The bathtub, shower, and toilet are on the other side of the bathroom.
There’s a nice shelving unit stocked with towels.
The tub is not a Jacuzzi, but it’s still nice. The blue tile on the wall continues into the shower.
The shower has a swinging glass door.

There are rainfall and standard shower heads. There’s a seat at the back.
Another sliding door leads to the toilet. Unfortunately, there is no toilet art at Universal Helios Grand Hotel.
We do appreciate that the toilet paper is stamped with the hotel logo.
2 Queens Bedroom
On the other side of the suite is the extra queens room, which is essentially the same as the regular 2 Queen Bed room we already toured. It has the same bedding as the king, with the long floral-patterned headboard behind both beds. A pair of domed lights is in the center, over the end table. There is no space for luggage storage under the beds.
The number of outlets is one of our favorite things about this hotel. Built into all the end tables are four standard outlets, four USB outlets, and two USB-C outlets. The end tables also have a drawer.
There’s another large mounted TV above a dresser unit.
This is a different unit with four big drawers. In general, there’s not a lot of storage space in this hotel, but the Presidential Suite has a decent amount. The unit also has a Magic Chef mini fridge. The coffee maker in here is unbranded.
Again, there is Fiji water you can purchase, but turndown service also provides regular bottles of water.
We appreciate the custom paper coasters with the ice bucket.
Another chair and a small table are next to this bedroom’s window.
There’s a great view from every room of the suite.
The bathroom has a sliding, locking door — followed by another sliding, locking door into the toilet and shower room. Like the other bedroom’s bathroom, there is an illuminated makeup mirror and a large mirror. The bathrooms come stocked with tissues, cotton swabs, soap, lotion, a shower cap, and glassware. There’s tons of storage space in this bathroom compared to the bedroom. There are four large drawers, where you’ll find extra towels and the hair dryer.
The shower has a sliding glass door. There’s a small shaving ledge and mounted shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
Because this room can also be its own 2 Queen Beds room, it has a front door. Next to it is a full-length mirror.
The closet comes stocked with an ironing board and iron, lots of hangers, additional bedding, bathrobes, a luggage rack, and a built-in safe. If you get the Presidential Suite with this extra room, you’ll have two ironing boards and two irons.
Overall
There is a lot of dead space and weird moments in the Presidential Suite. But the bedrooms have a good amount of color, there is a lot of space, and the gym is great.
And the view is incredible. If you have the means, and maybe if you want to entertain guests, then this is a great option. Even as a once-in-a-lifetime special event, we recommend the Presidential Suite for anyone who wants to go all out on their Epic Universe trip.
