When Universal Mega Movie Parade returned to Universal Studios Florida last month, the two floats were absent, with the parade skipping straight from the Minions unit to the Ghostbusters unit.

The parade’s units are inspired by classic Universal and DreamWorks films, including “Back to the Future,” “Sing,” “Jaws,” and “E.T.”

The parade debuted last summer, although the “Jurassic World” raptor paddock float and the Ecto-1 from “Ghostbusters” were added later. It is performed in the afternoon on most days.
The “Kung Fu Panda” float is preceded by dancers in red and gold waving banners.
The float resembles a stone temple with gold railings and red Chinese lanterns. An image of Po the panda is on the front.
Po himself is on the float, waving at guests. Behind him is Mr. Ping’s Noodle Cart.
After the “Kung Fu Panda” unit is the “Trolls” unit, led by dancers in colorful costumes and wigs.
There are two stilt-walkers wearing flowers and caterpillars.
The float is inspired by the purple Caterbus. Heart-shaped gems line the base. Cartoon-style foliage is around the bus.
Poppy and Branch are on the float in front of a rainbow archway.
Tiny Diamond is on a disco ball hanging from the back of the float.

The parade transitions out of DreamWorks properties and back to the classics with “Ghostbusters” and then “E.T.”

After a “Jaws” unit, the parade ends with three “Jurassic World” floats, including one with the famous T. rex.
