Several picnic tables have been added to the back of the Big Top Souvenirs shop in Magic Kingdom.
Picnic Tables in Big Top Souvenirs
Inside the shaded space of Big Top Souvenirs, some space was recently cleared behind the Big Top Treats snack stand. We now know the clearing was to make space for some new tables with benches that have just been added to the location. The tables are the perfect location for guests looking to take a seat while enjoying their snacks and sweet treats purchased at the stand.
The picnic tables are made of blue metal with standard black supports. The tables are rectangular without any real theming to match the rest of the space.
Each individual table has two moveable benches that look to seat three to four guests each.
Big Top Souvenirs is located in the Storybook Circus area of Fantasyland. The kiosk in the middle of the tent is a snack venue primarily serving cold drinks and sweet treats like caramel apples or cotton candy. The rest of the space around the kiosk is lined with shelves displaying merchandise and pins.
Last year, the “Smellephants on Parade” interactive experience made its debut in Storybook Circus. Smellephants on Parade is a “search and sniff” activity in Storybook Circus where guests can become a “Whiff-sistant” to Timothy Q. Mouse to find all eight Smellephant statues hidden in the land.
Sponsored by Scentsy, each of the “Pink Elephants on Parade”-inspired elephants has a scent diffuser that emits a scent tied to its theme. Guests can begin the Smellephant hunt at Big Top Souvenirs, where Cast Members will provide them with an illustrated map of Storybook Circus and a sticker sheet.
