70th Celebration Churro – $7.50
Classic Churro rolled in Ube Sugar, topped with Marbled Blue Raspberry Icing Drizzle and Sprinkles
Ube has a distinct and earthy flavor which is present in the Celebration Churro. As a result, this definitely did not blow us away. When comparing these to a regular churro, we would lean toward ordering the standard variety. However, the anniversary theming on the Celebration Churro does look very pretty, and the purple dust was a nice way to incorporate the official event colors. Great for pictures, not so great to eat for anyone who isn’t a serious lover of ube.
