Po’s Kung Fu Training Camp, the DreamWorks Land play area inspired by “Kung Fu Panda,” is seemingly undergoing a refurbishment.

Po’s Kung Fu Training Camp at Universal Studios Florida opened about a year ago. Despite this, it appears several sections of the play area are already being refurbished. The Pond of Perpetual Wetness near the front of the training camp is now turned off. The entire splash pad section has been blocked from guest access with temporary barriers.

There were no signs of construction in the splash pad during our visit on Thursday, May 1. The area may be cleaned and freshened-up during the closure.

A large wooden box marked "Do Not Climb" sits near a blue playground ride in a leafy outdoor area.

In the village, the green spinning noodle bowl of Mr. Ping’s Noodle Kaboodle is missing. The bowl been replaced with a wood-painted box. “Do Not Climb” is painted on the sides in red text. The nearby blue bowl is still available.

Guests can also still play with the giant spinning noodles. For reference, above is a picture from this week and another from one year ago. This section seems relatively unchanged, apart from the brown box.

One of the interactive machines outside the Laundry of Ultimate Cleanliness has also been removed and replaced by a box. The photos above show the area today and one year ago. The “Laundry of Ultimate Cleanliness” sign was added following the land’s original opening date.

A large, wooden, rectangular box stands on a concrete surface under a metal and wood structure outdoors.

This gadget was a fan labeled “Air of Astounding Dryness.” Guests could spin a wheel to activate a fan that blew on the laundry hanging above. The other interactive element provides “Wind of Waterlessness” in a similar fashion.

Po’s Kung Fu Training Camp also features the interactive “Po Live!”
