It’s the third week of June, which means yet another limited edition cookie is available for one week only at Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs. This time, it’s the return of the Maple Walnut Chocolate Chip Cookie from January 2024.
Gideon’s Bakehouse can be found in The Landing section of Disney Springs.
As with previous weeks, the menu card for this month remains the same, while the weekly limited edition cookie changes. This month’s character is Gilbert, a gill creature who just wants to make a friend this summer.
Maple Walnut Chocolate Chip Cookie – $6.50
Chocolate Chip Cookie mixed with “the highest quality” maple syrup, housemade candied walnuts, and topped with cinnamon nutmeg sugar
This week’s cookie is huge, which is nothing new for a Gideon’s cookie. It’s very soft, but not too gooey and messy.
All of the cookie’s flavors together mesh well for a fantastic combination. The walnut brings a nice saltiness and texture, which balances the sweet taste of the chocolate. Sadly, we did not get much maple syrup flavor in our cookie.
If you’re a fan of chocolate chip cookies and want something a little less intense as far as sweetness goes, you might like this cookie. We think it’s a great size to share, and could pair well with a coffee from Gideon’s, too.

The Maple Walnut Chocolate Chip cookie will be available now through June 21. The final cookie for this month will be the return of the White Chocolate Caramel Macadamia, which will be available from June 22-30.
