Gramercy Park in Universal Studios Florida has been blocked by construction walls for most of this month. The walls are now gone, revealing freshly repainted elements and new foliage.

Gramercy Park is located in the park’s New York area, past Minion Land. It’s based on a real park in New York City.

Fresh sod, grass, and bushes now fill the planters throughout the park. Some of the trees may have also been replaced.
The most obvious difference is to the pillar in the center of the park, topped with an angel statue. The pillar, base, and surrounding planter have been repainted.
Though not a new color, the beige paint is clearly fresh and not dirty.
The green poles holding the chain around the pillar appear to have also been repainted.
The green lampposts were repainted, too. Maintenance work may have also included replacing lightbulbs and cleaning benches.
A Secret Life of Pets photo op was installed along the edge of Gramercy Park earlier this year. It included statues of Max and Duke, but after construction began, Max was removed. He has yet to return.
Gramercy Park was the last remaining designated smoking area inside Universal Studios Florida until Universal removed all in-park smoking areas a few months ago. Smoking area signs were removed at that time. There are now smoking areas at the park exits and in Universal CityWalk.
