An open edition pin featuring the attraction’s logo is also available for pin collectors. The Yeti is sitting in a small white circle below the green logo.
Yeti Pin – $14.99

Disco Yeti turns Snowboarding Yeti on this open edition pin. The Yeti stands upon a green snowboard on a blue background inspired by the Asian details of the Animal Kingdom land. The Disney’s Animal Kingdom logo is printed below the Yeti.
Expedition Everest Spirit Jersey – $79.99

The jersey is made from a light blue and white tie-dye material. A logo for Disney’s Animal Kingdom is on the left breast. Above it is a section of roller coaster track leading into the mountain.

Expedition Everest is written in large letters across the shoulders of the jersey. Expedition is written in navy blue, and Everest is written in sea foam green. The words “nomad, voyagers, and wonderers” are written under the jersey’s seam. Below that is a Yeti-faced version of Mount Everest with the word “Beware” behind it.
Yeti Magnet – $14.99

The Snowboarding Yeti pin design makes a return on this attraction-themed magnet.
Forbidden Mountain Bottle – $39.99

This green water bottle features the phrase “The Legend of the Forbidden Mountain,” written in golden lettering on a burgundy background. The Everest Yeti is featured breaking the tracks of the roller coaster in the middle of the text.

The attraction’s logo is written on the opposite side of the bottle. It has a black screw-on lid and a paracord handle.
Expedition Everest “Adventure Pack” Set – $24.99

This play set contains everything a mountaineer would need for a pretend expedition, such as a 5-in-1 field tool, mini binoculars, mini flashlight, compass, and drawstring bag. This is an updated version of the one previously released for the 15th anniversary of Expedition Everest.
Expedition Everest

Disney’s Animal Kingdom’s only roller-coaster was announced on the park’s 5th anniversary, April 22, 2003. Construction began soon after, and the attraction was completed three years later. It opened for previews in January 2006 before a grand opening on April 7, 2006.
The famous audio-animatronic Yeti created for Expedition Everest was the largest and most complex Walt Disney Imagineering had ever constructed. It’s 25 feet tall and could move 5 feet horizontally and 18 inches vertically.
Unfortunately, the Yeti has been in “B-mode” for almost its entire existence. Just a few months after Expedition Everest opened, the animatronic’s framing split. If it were to continue operating in its moving “A-mode,” it could damage the structure further. A strobe light is instead shone on the figure to give it the illusion of movement, and it has since been dubbed “Disco Yeti.”
