Disney has announced the official release date for Percy Jackson and The Olympians season 2, along with the first official poster and teaser trailer.
Percy Jackson and The Olympians Season 2 Poster
Disney has revealed the first new poster and release date for season 2 of Percy Jackson and The Olympians. The show, which is based on the book series of the same name by Rick Riordan, premiered at the end of 2023 with a first season that reached a record-breaking 13.3 million viewers in its first six days of streaming on Disney+ and Hulu. Shortly after the show’s initial success, Disney announced it had been renewed for a second season. It was even renewed for a third season before the second premiered.
The new poster revealed by Disney shares an updated look at main cast members Walker Scobell as Percy Jackson, Leah Sava Jeffries portrays as Annabeth Chase, and Aryan Simhadri as Grover Underwood. The trio stands on a rock in the middle of the sea, with the large tentacle of a monster looming ominously in the background. Just like the first season, this second season will follow the chronology of the original book series and be based on the events of The Sea of Monsters.

The poster also includes the premiere date for the second season, which is now officially set for December 10, 2025. The announcement did not include any information about the number of total episodes, or how many episodes the premiere will include. There has also been no news about the release of season three, though there are hopes that the show’s early renewal will lead to a shorter gap between the second and third seasons.
Percy Jackson Teaser Trailer
As part of this massive drop, Disney+ also shared the first teaser trailer for this second season. The trailer includes a new look at several returning characters from the first season, including Clarisse, Dionysus (or Mr. D), Luke, Hermes, and more. There will also be some new characters added for this second season, notably Daniel Diemer as Tyson, Andra Day as Athena, and Tamara Smart as Thalia Grace. Courtney B.
