After two years behind construction walls and two months without water, the new Adventureland fountain at Disneyland Park is finally operational.
Adventureland Fountain Water Running

The new fountain is located near the main entrance to Adventureland, across from Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room. It was unveiled in May after the area had been behind construction walls for two years.
In 2023, a pipe burst in the old fountain and walls went up around the whole area. The old fountain was removed after the the incident, but there weren’t signs of new construction until this year.

The new fountain resembles a crumbling ruin. The figure of an ape is carved in the rockwork behind the falling water. It’s positioned as though the ape is holding up the ledge that the water is pouring from at the top.

Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room recently underwent a refurbishment, too. The Tangaroa Tree and other effects in the Enchanted Tiki Garden were restored after not operating for a few years. The theater also received upgraded lighting for the show.
This all approximately coincides with the 70th anniversary of Disneyland, which celebrated its official birthday on July 17. The overall birthday celebration began in May, however, and runs through next summer. “it’s a small world” was also recently refurbished, debuted new “Coco” figures, and added the previously-teased final verse of the attraction’s notorious song as a tribute to the Sherman Brothers. Matterhorn Bobsleds has been closed for maintenance for several months. More Disneyland attractions will go through regular refurbishments soon.
