The Notice of Commencement was filed on August 11, 2025. It’s for “General construction” at 2901 Osceola Parkway, the address of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. It contracts JCQ Services, Inc. The company provides services like carpentry and general demolition.

Disney previously announced months-long room refurbishments for Kidani Village and Jambo House. The Zebra Trail terrace at Animal Kingdom Lodge is also undergoing refurbishment through mid-September. The permit is likely related to one of these projects.

Like most construction permits, it expires in one year, on August 11, 2026.

Will the upcoming refurbishments affect your upcoming stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge? Let us know in the comments and on social media.
