BREAKING: Disneyland Ending Early Park Entry for Resort Guests, Replacing with Lightning Lane Access

Disneyland Resort will end early entry for resort hotel guests in 2026, instead offering Lightning Lane access for one attraction.

Disneyland Early Entry Ending

Disneyland Resort hotel guests can continue to take advantage of early entry 30 minutes before a park opens every day of their hotel stay through January 4, 2026. Each day, either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure opens early.

  • Disneyland Park: Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday
  • Disney California Adventure Park: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday

During early entry, guests can take advantage of shorter wait times for select attractions, as well as select shopping and dining options, as listed below.

According to Disneyland officials, early entry was not widely used, prompting their decision to end the offering. It will no longer be available starting on January 5, 2026.

Lightning Lane Access

Starting on January 5, Disneyland Resort hotel guests can instead take advantage of one Lightning Lane entry to a Lightning Lane Multi Pass attraction during their resort stay.

  1. I say boo. We used that early entry whenever we went and it was such a great perk. It would probably have had more usage if there was more access to the park, especially at California Adventure
