Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter to Undergo Lobby Refurbishment this Fall

Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter has announced a lobby refurbishment, set to take place this fall.

According to the Walt Disney World website, the renovations will take place from August 26 through the end of September 2025. The lobby will remain open during construction, but guests may see or hear maintenance in the area during daytime hours. Read the full notice:

From August 25 through the end of September, the lobby of Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter will undergo renovations. While Guests may see or hear maintenance in the area during daytime hours, the lobby will remain open during construction and all amenities will be available.

This refurbishment announcement comes after Disney announced that the Magnolia Bend room refurbishments would be extended for Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, through February 2026. Refurbishment of over 1,000 rooms at French Quarter was completed earlier this year.

In July, a bridge was broken and then reopened shortly afterward at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort after a truck accident.
